CNET recently evaluated the top prepaid mobile plans for 2026. The review highlighted US Mobile’s Unlimited Flex plan as the best single-line option.

The company operates as a “Super Carrier” by using all three major US networks.
Customers choose AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile infrastructure. US Mobile calls these networks Dark Star, Warp, and Light Speed.
This plan includes 10GB of high-speed data and 5GB of hotspot data.
Visible took the runner-up spot for single lines. The Verizon-backed carrier charges $20 a month for its base plan.
This requires a 12-month commitment and the promotional code FRESHSTART. Visible includes unlimited hotspot data and bakes taxes into the sticker price.

For families, Google Fi Wireless won the best value category. Its Unlimited Standard plan costs $100 for four lines.
Google currently discounts this to $75 a month for the first year. The package provides 50GB of high-speed data and 25GB of hotspot tethering per line on T-Mobile’s network.
Google Fi also includes free calls to Canada and Mexico.
