Escaped Convicted Murderer Spotted by Witness in Pennsylvania

An alert individual in Pennsylvania played a crucial role in a recent development concerning escaped convict Danelo Cavalcante, who was on the run after escaping from Chester County Prison on August 31st. Cavalcante, a convicted murderer sentenced to life in prison for the 2021 killing of his ex-girlfriend, had been wanted by both U.S. authorities and Brazilian law enforcement for additional charges, including a homicide case in Brazil.

According to the Pennsylvania State Police, on a Friday afternoon, an observant individual spotted Cavalcante near Longwood Gardens, at the intersection of E. Street Rd and Conservatory Rd in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. This sighting prompted immediate action from law enforcement.

The Acting Warden of Chester County Prison, Howard Holland, shared a video of Cavalcante's daring escape during a press conference. The footage shows the convicted killer executing an unusual maneuver, crab-walking up a wall. This astonishing display of agility shocked many.

Subsequently, a law enforcement operation unfolded as officers converged on the scene, carefully monitoring a bridge overlooking a small ravine with their rifles at the ready.
