Robbie, joined by his wife Gai and Louise's husband, remembered Suzie's all-encompassing love: "She was loved by all, her children, Gai & Gunther, her grandchildren & particularly her 5 great g'children. She lived her 93 years so fully & independently."

In another touching account, Robbie shared Suzie's parting jest: "They decided, with our permission, to administer a painkiller which can hasten death. Mum asked what it was, I told [her]. She said, pointing her finger at me: 'Et tu Brute,' which is what Shakespeare has Caesar say to his best [friend] Brutus as he was stabbed. Mum laughed. What a star."

Suzie Waterhouse, a loving figure in her family's dynasty, now reunites with her husband 'Big Bill' Waterhouse, the renowned bookmaker. Big Bill, once the world's largest bookmaker, passed away at 97 in November 2019, after an enduring 65-year marriage.
