Legendary Singer and Songwriter Jimmy Buffett Passes Away at 76

Stars including Nicole Kidman, Elton John, and LL Cool J have come together to pay tribute to the renowned singer and songwriter Jimmy Buffett, who sadly passed away at the age of 76.

Buffett, known for his laid-back attitude towards life and for creating the tropical rock genre, peacefully passed away at his home in Sag Harbor, Long Island, in the United States, as stated on his official website.

His most famous hit, "Margaritaville," which was named after the popular cocktail, dominated the 1970s. Buffett's last surprise performance took place in Rhode Island in early July.

The musician battled Merkel cell skin cancer, a rare and aggressive type that usually originates on the face, head, or neck before spreading to other body parts, for four years.
