In a shocking revelation, Joran van der Sloot has confessed to a brutal attack on 18-year-old Natalee Holloway in Aruba back in 2005. His confession, made in an interview recorded on October 3, sheds light on a horrifying incident that had long remained a mystery.

In just three minutes and 45 seconds, van der Sloot's chilling account unfolded. He admitted that he had forcefully advanced upon Natalee, leading to a violent altercation. She resisted his advances, and in response, he brutally attacked her, ultimately leading to her tragic demise.

Van der Sloot described how, in a fit of anger, he kicked Natalee in the face, causing significant harm. Believing she might be dead or unconscious, he then picked up a cinderblock from the beach and used it to crush her skull.

"[She] tells me she doesn't want me to feel her up," he recalled. "Uh, I insist. I keep feeling her up either way, and she knees me. She ends up kneeing me in the crotch."

Following the brutal assault, he dragged her into the sea until he was about knee-deep and then pushed her lifeless body into the water.

Natalee Holloway's disappearance during a senior trip to Aruba in 2005 had remained a perplexing case. She was last seen leaving a bar with van der Sloot, who had offered varying explanations over the years, including claims that he shoved her into a rock or that his influential father helped conceal the body. However, in this new confession, he admitted to acting alone and made no mention of his father's involvement.

"You have brutally murdered, in separate incidents, years apart, two young women who refused your sexual advances," noted Judge Anna Manasco during van der Sloot's court appearance, alluding to another unrelated murder. She also characterized the extortion and fraud charges as "heinous" due to the deceit involved in selling false information for profit. Nevertheless, the federal prosecutors have agreed not to use this confession against him for any other purposes as part of a deal.

Natalee Holloway's mother, speaking outside the courthouse, expressed her relief that the case had finally been resolved. "Joran van der Sloot is the killer," she asserted.

Van der Sloot had previously admitted to killing another young woman, Stephany Flores, on May 30, 2010, exactly five years after Natalee's disappearance.
