Joaquin Guzman, the former leader of the notorious Sinaloa cartel, now resides in a high-security "super-max" prison in Colorado, serving a life sentence. Inheriting their father's vast multibillion-dollar enterprise, the Guzman brothers took the organization in a new direction, focusing on synthetic drugs like methamphetamine and the potent opioid fentanyl.
