Rock icon Bruce Springsteen, at 73 years old, has made the tough decision to cancel the September portion of his tour due to a peptic ulcer. Springsteen, along with his backing band E Street, shared this news on his official website as per doctors' advice.

Originally, the "Born To Run" singer had performances scheduled for this month, starting with a show in Syracuse, New York. He was also set to hit other venues across the United States, including Washington DC, Baltimore, Connecticut, and Ohio. However, these shows will be rescheduled for later dates.

In a heartfelt message posted on his social media and website, Springsteen expressed his sadness about the unexpected turn of events. He said, "Over here on E Street, we're heartbroken to have to postpone these shows. We'll be back to pick up these shows and then some. Springsteen also offered his apologies to his "fabulous" fans in Philadelphia, where he had to cancel shows a few weeks earlier due to illness.
