Betrayal and Deception Unfold in Big Brother House

In the world of Big Brother, trust can be a rare commodity. Red Utley, an inmate of the CBS reality show's house, found this out the hard way when he got blindsided by someone he thought was his closest ally - Cirie Fields.

Red, a 38-year-old contestant, confided in us exclusively after his eviction on the Thursday, September 7th episode. He admitted, "I felt really close to Cirie, and I felt like we had conversations and she throws around words like 'love.' And she even told me at one point, 'Red, over my dead carcass … you walk out,' She repeated [the word] carcass, multiple times. So she really played up that part."

Red might not have played the game that way, but he couldn't help but appreciate Cirie's cunning strategy. Cirie, aged 53, learned her craft from multiple appearances on Survivor over the years.

Cirie and Red initially teamed up in the Professors' alliance, along with Felicia Canon, Izzy Gleicher, Mecole Hayes, Hisam Goueli, and Bowie Jane Ball. However, they disbanded after targeting Hisam, 45, following his chaotic reign as Head of Household. They later reconnected to form the Legend 25 alliance, which included Cameron Harding. But, as it turned out, Legend 25 was just a fake alliance for Cirie to navigate through weeks when Cameron, 34, held power.

The Big Brother house thrives on the motto "Expect the Unexpected." It's a place where contestants often sense who will be voted out during eviction nights. But what Red didn't see coming was the revelation that Cirie is the mother of fellow houseguest Jared Fields, which left him surprised.

"Now I will say there was an inclination that [Jared and Cirie] maybe knew each other or maybe were even related on some level in the first couple of weeks that I was in there," Red confessed. "They look really similar, but I kind of discredited that [by] watching their mannerisms and they’re very careful about what they do and are close with everybody."

If Red were still in the house and knew about Cirie and Jared’s relationship, his strategy would be to split them up.

"Knowing what I know now, you definitely don’t want a mother-and-son duo in there. That type of bond is tenfold more dangerous than a showman," he emphasized. "They know each other’s intricacies better than anybody ever possibly could."
