Bank holiday revellers took to the streets last night as Britain made the most of their day off - as thousands across the country nurse sore heads this morning.

And they flocked to pubs and clubs across the nation as they took advantage of the last bank holiday until December so they could embrace their hangovers before work on Tuesday.
