Former ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Faith Stowers: A Journey Beyond Reality TV
Faith Stowers, known for her time on the reality TV series ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ didn’t just walk away from the show when drama struck. She took a new path, one that led her to MTV. Besides her appearances on shows like ‘Ex on the Beach’ and ‘The Challenge,’ Faith embraced motherhood in February 2020 when she welcomed her son with boyfriend Marcio Marchena II.
In June 2020, Faith made headlines when she spoke out about her unique position as the only person of color with a significant role on ‘Vanderpump Rules.’ She shared her thoughts via Instagram Live, where she revealed that her co-stars were less critical of Jax, who had cheated on Brittany, and instead directed their anger towards her. They hurled insults, criticized her appearance, and even attacked her hair.
Faith also expressed her disappointment in not being given the opportunity to film confessionals for the show’s fourth season. She felt her story, particularly her experiences as a black woman in the military, deserved to be heard and acknowledged.
Fast forward to June 2023, and Faith launched a GoFundMe campaign to cover legal fees for her pursuit of justice against Stassi. Back in 2020, Faith accused Stassi and Kristen of falsely reporting her to the police for a crime she didn’t commit. As a consequence of their actions, both Stassi and Kristen were let go from ‘Pump Rules.’
Faith’s statement in June 2023 was clear and resolute: “I believe Stassi hasn’t learned from her mistakes and is still alleging in her book that I have committed a felony. This is harmful to my career and to my family. Enough is enough. I found an amazing legal team, and we are seeking assistance from supporters that also stand against bullying and racial divide to once and for all end this matter.” Faith is determined to seek justice and put this chapter behind her.
