Jeanne Roblez Howell, aged 64 and hailing from Sedona, Arizona, embarked on an afternoon adventure at 2 p.m., setting out on the enchanting Fairyland Loop trail. However, by 7 p.m., she hadn’t returned as expected, leaving concerns in her wake. The National Park Service (NPS) stepped in and reported that Howell was missing, launching an immediate search operation in collaboration with the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Howell’s lifeless body was located within Campbell Canyon, roughly a mile east of the Fairyland Loop trail’s starting point.
