Texas Woman’s Sin City Revenge Stabbing Points Finger at Hollywood Actress

Texas Woman Who Stabbed Man Claims to be Movie Character During Attack

In a recent interview, Nika Nikoubin, a woman from Texas, revealed a bizarre twist to a violent incident in a Las Vegas hotel. She confessed that she believed she was Salma Hayek’s vampire character from the movie “From Dusk Till Dawn” while stabbing a man.

During the attack, Nikoubin, 23, claimed that she looked at herself in the mirror and believed she was the attractive actress Salma Hayek. She also experienced hallucinations of a snake around her shoulders. She shared these details in an interview with the New York Post published on Tuesday.

Nikoubin, who suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, initially told police that she was seeking revenge for the U.S. missile strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qasem Soleimani in 2020. However, she later admitted that she made up the story.

Nikoubin managed to avoid jail time by pleading guilty to reduced charges of false imprisonment with a deadly weapon. She had originally faced charges of attempted murder and battery. The incident involved a man she met on a dating app, whom she blindfolded during an encounter and then stabbed twice in the neck.

After her arrest, Nikoubin’s mental health issues and personal struggles came to light. She had stopped taking her medication and was heavily drinking at the time of the stabbing.

Despite the strange and violent incident, Nikoubin’s spokesperson stated that she has cooperated with mental health professionals and her legal team. She aims to raise awareness about mental health through a newly published book titled “Who is Nika Nikoubin? A Bloody Las Vegas Hotel Story.”

Nikoubin’s case also led to her removal from the University of Texas at Dallas due to safety concerns. She had been admitted for the spring 2023 semester, but the university took action once her Nevada criminal charges were discovered.

Ultimately, Nika Nikoubin’s case sheds light on the complexities of mental health and its impact on behavior. Her story serves as a reminder of the importance of understanding and addressing mental health issues in society.
