‘Terrorist’ Daniel Khalife charged with prison escape after going on run for 4-days from HMP Wandsworth

Alleged Terrorist Charged with Prison Escape

Daniel Khalife, a 21-year-old man, is facing charges related to a daring escape from Wandsworth Prison in South London. After four days on the run, he is set to appear in custody at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on September 11.

Khalife’s arrest took place on September 9 near Rowdell Road, Northolt, following a law enforcement operation led by officers from the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command.

His escape from the London-based jail is believed to have involved clinging to the underside of a delivery van. This incident comes after Khalife was charged in January 2023 for two separate incidents at an RAF base.

While in prison, Khalife was awaiting trial for terror-related offenses and alleged breaches of the Official Secrets Act. One of the allegations against him was planting fake bombs at the MOD Stafford military base.
