Terror suspect prisoner escapes from HMP Wandsworth as desperate hunt launched for ex-soldier lag

Manhunt Underway for Escaped Terror Suspect from HMP Wandsworth

Authorities are on high alert as a manhunt is underway for Daniel Abed Khalife, a prisoner who escaped from HMP Wandsworth earlier today.

Khalife, who is awaiting trial for terrorism-related charges, managed to flee his cell, prompting a desperate search effort by law enforcement.

The escapee, described as having a military background, was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, red and white checkered trousers, and brown steel toe cap boots. He stands at approximately 6 feet 2 inches tall and has a slim build with short brown hair.

Prison staff have conducted thorough searches of all cells in their pursuit to locate Khalife. Consequently, HMP Wandsworth, a Category B prison, is currently under lockdown as a precautionary measure following the escape.

HMP Wandsworth houses around 1,300 inmates, including some noteworthy individuals. Former tennis star Boris Becker recently found himself serving time at this facility for fraud-related charges, and journalist Chris Atkins also spent eight months there for tax fraud from July 2016 to March 2017.

The search for Daniel Abed Khalife continues as authorities strive to ensure public safety.
