New York Man Fatally Stabbed in Shocking Attack

Dowling, dressed in an orange prison-issued jumpsuit, appeared in Brooklyn Criminal Court as more than two dozen of his family members and friends filled the courtroom. He was charged with second-degree murder and other offenses for the frenzied knife attack that claimed Carson’s life.
Dowling is currently being held without bail, and his lawyer, Ken Montgomery, has refrained from commenting on the indictment.
Surveillance Video Reveals the Attack
Video surveillance captured the chilling moment when Dowling approached Ryan Carson. He was seen shouting, “What the heck are you looking at?” and “I’ll kill you,” before stabbing Carson three times. The assailant then turned to Claudia Morales, spat in her face, and kicked the wounded Carson, who lay on the sidewalk with a puncture wound to his heart.
After the attack, Dowling fled the scene, and Ryan Carson was pronounced dead at 4:18 a.m. Three days later, Dowling was apprehended by authorities, where he was observed in a state of distress while inside a police cruiser.
