Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have officially declared their intention to part ways in a statement shared on their Instagram accounts. The couple, known for their respective careers in acting and music, stated that they have chosen to end their marriage on amicable terms.

In a joint statement, 26-year-old Turner and 34-year-old Jonas expressed their shared decision: “After four wonderful years of marriage, we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. Current Whereabouts

As of now, Turner, known for her role as Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, is in the UK for filming, while Jonas is on tour in the US, caring for their two children.

Court documents, reviewed by NBC News, reveal that Jonas and Turner share parental responsibility for their children and have a prenuptial agreement in place. Jonas has requested the court to uphold this agreement. In recent weeks, Jonas has been seen without his wedding ring; however, he wore it during his recent performance in Austin, Texas.

Despite their decision to part ways, Turner and Jonas have been seen attending each other’s events. Turner attended the Jonas Brothers’ opening show in New York last month, and she posted a photograph of them together on Instagram just a few weeks ago.
