A concert featuring rapper Lil Baby turned chaotic on Thursday night in Memphis, Tennessee, when gunshots rang out, leaving one person critically wounded, according to the Memphis Police Department.
What Happened?
Around 10:23 p.m. at 191 Beale Street, which is home to the FedExForum arena used by the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies, reports of a shooting sent officers rushing to the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered a man who had been shot and swiftly transported him to Regional One Health Medical Center. The victim is currently in critical condition, but fortunately, no other injuries were reported.

Eyewitness Account
Glentavious Jones, an attendee at the concert, recounted seeing a man in a red shirt being taken away on a stretcher, shedding light on the chaos that ensued.

The situation spilled onto the streets outside the venue, with thousands of concertgoers rushing outside in the midst of the turmoil.
