Selena Gomez has once again caught the spotlight at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards. This time, she’s making headlines with her sense of humor. On Tuesday, September 12, Gomez shared a playful moment with her BFF Taylor Swift and didn’t hesitate to crack a joke.

In an Instagram Story post, the 30-year-old singer jokingly commented on her appearance while hugging Taylor Swift at the event. Gomez posted a photo of the two embracing, with the caption, “She looks stunning, I look constipated. Typical.”

In the photo, Gomez had her arms wrapped around Swift as they engaged in conversation. Swift responded with a smile and reciprocated the hug.

Both pop stars turned heads at the awards show with their stunning outfits. Gomez donned a vibrant ruby red dress by Oscar de la Renta, adorned with intricate floral beading. Meanwhile, Swift dazzled in a black Versace gown featuring a stylish strappy back design.

During the evening, Gomez also made waves on social media due to her reaction to Olivia Rodrigo’s performance. While some thought she appeared confused by the singer’s stage “malfunction,” Gomez clarified on Instagram Stories the following day, saying, “I’d rather sit still than be dragged for being myself.
