Video Message Emerges Amidst International Search for Sara Sharif’s Father
In a significant development, Urfan Sharif, the father of the late Sara Sharif, has appeared in a video message for the first time following his daughter’s tragic demise. The 10-year-old girl was discovered deceased at her residence in Woking, Surrey, on August 10. The distressing incident prompted a call to emergency services from Urfan Sharif, who was in Pakistan at the time.
An international manhunt is currently in progress to locate Urfan Sharif, his partner Beinash Batool, and Sara’s uncle, Faisal Malik.
The newly surfaced video features Mr. Sharif and Ms. Batool seated together, with Ms. Batool delivering a statement. In the video, she expressed the family’s willingness to collaborate with UK authorities and address their case within the legal framework.
Ms. Batool stated, “First and foremost, I would like to discuss Sara. Her passing was a tragic event that deeply affected our family in Pakistan, considering the ongoing circumstances.”
She further clarified, “Imran, one of Mr. Sharif’s brothers, never made a statement suggesting that Sara had fallen down the stairs and broken her neck. This misinformation was disseminated by a Pakistani media outlet, and I am gravely concerned for Imran’s safety.”
Ms. Batool revealed that her family had gone into hiding due to widespread fears for their safety. She added, “The children are unable to attend school due to their fear of leaving the house. Nobody is venturing outside. As a result, essential supplies have depleted, leaving the children without food because the adults are apprehensive about their safety.”
The emergence of this video message sheds new light on the ongoing investigation, while international authorities intensify their efforts to locate the individuals involved in this tragic case.
