COPS Close In on Suspects in Tragic Case: Sara Sharif’s Dad and Others
In a race against time, the authorities in Pakistan are hot on the heels of Urfan Sharif, the father of young Sara Sharif, who met a tragic end. A dire situation is unfolding as the police track Urfan Sharif’s phone signals, aiming to apprehend him within hours. Alongside him, the spotlight falls on Beinash Batool, his partner, and Faisal Malik, his brother.
Sara Sharif’s lifeless body was discovered in her Woking, Surrey home on August 10. Her passing cast a dark shadow that led to an intricate web of events. Fleeing the UK, all three suspects sought refuge overseas after the heartbreaking incident.
Nasir Baiwa, the police chief from their hometown of Jhelum, expressed his resolve yesterday, saying, “With God’s will, we will make the arrest by tomorrow night.” The officers on the case are emotionally invested, as the fate of an innocent child hangs in the balance.
The trio, Sharif (41), Malik (28), and Batool (29), departed for Islamabad on August 9, just a day before Sara’s lifeless form was discovered. It was from Pakistan that Sharif reported his daughter’s demise to the British authorities.
Mr. Baiwa’s relentless teams of officers labor tirelessly, tracking every lead day and night. The suspects were picked up from Islamabad airport by two of Sharif’s brothers, embarking on an 85-mile journey to Jhelum, their destination. However, their current whereabouts remain elusive, likely in the vicinity of Kashmir.
Despite the murky situation, Muhammad Sharif, Sara’s grandfather, issued a plea to her father, Batool, and Malik, urging them to come forward and face the truth. Muhammad stated, “We want them to present themselves. We want to resolve the matter as the privacy of our house is affected due to frequent police raids.”
In a disturbing revelation earlier this week, a handwritten note surfaced at Sara’s residence. The note, allegedly penned by a relative, paints a gruesome picture of Sara’s demise: “Whoever sees this, it was [name] who killed [Sara] by beating. I am running away because I am scared.” This chilling message, scrawled in large letters on lined paper, was seemingly left for the authorities to stumble upon.
Adding to the unsettling puzzle, a mother whose child attends St Mary’s Primary in Byfleet, Surrey claimed that Sara had exhibited “cuts and bruises” before departing the school in April. Olga Sharif, Sara’s mother, residing in Yeovil, Somerset, voiced her sentiments earlier this week: “I will never have closure until I know what has happened and why. He can’t hide away forever.”
As events unfold, floral tributes serve as poignant reminders of the tragedy that unfolded within the walls of the Surrey property. The story continues to unravel, its complexities woven into the fabric of an ongoing investigation.
