Pink Postpones Shows Due to Respiratory Infection
US singer-songwriter Pink has had to postpone two shows this weekend due to a respiratory infection, which has left her unable to perform. Pink expressed her deep apologies to fans after her doctors advised against taking the stage on Friday and Saturday. She took to Instagram to announce the rescheduling of these shows and expressed her excitement about performing in Vancouver once she recovers.
This marks the third time this month that Pink has canceled shows during her Summer Carnival 2023 world tour. Earlier, she canceled concerts in Tacoma, Washington, citing family medical issues, and in Arlington, Texas, due to a sinus infection. Pink reassured her fans that the rescheduled shows would be outstanding and apologized for any inconvenience.
Some fans expressed frustration over these cancellations, while others showed sympathy, understanding the toll of a world tour on artists’ mental and physical health. Pink’s tour is scheduled to continue in the US and Canada until November, followed by dates in Australia and New Zealand, concluding in March.
