Arrest Made in Human Trafficking Case Linked to Prostitution Investigation
A Pennsylvania man has been taken into custody in connection with a police probe into prostitution. The Bensalem Township Police Special Investigations Unit responded to an incident at the Inn of the Dove hotel last Thursday, as stated in an official press release.
Dennis Ruoff, aged 49, had rented a room at the hotel and was found to have two active warrants, according to law enforcement officials. When officers arrived at the room and knocked on the door, both Ruoff and a woman appeared at the window, but they chose not to respond to the door.

The situation escalated as officers secured the room to acquire a search warrant. Eventually, Ruoff opened the door and surrendered to the police. Upon entering the room, law enforcement officers discovered two women inside. Subsequent interviews with the women unveiled disturbing details – it appeared that Ruoff had been allegedly trafficking them. He reportedly supplied them with drugs, orchestrated “dates” with other men using a website, and coerced them into having sexual encounters with these men. Moreover, Ruoff claimed that the women owed him for the drugs he had provided.

One of the women disclosed that Ruoff had also sexually assaulted her. As a result of these revelations, Ruoff was taken into custody on charges of human trafficking, sexual assault, and other offenses. He is presently detained at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on bail set at 10% of $1 million.
