Escapee Convicted Killer Possibly Spotted in Pennsylvania

George Bivens addressed the public during a press conference on Thursday, revealing that there had been a possible sighting of Cavalcante near Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. Cavalcante’s escape from Chester County Prison occurred on the morning of August 31. Additionally, he is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for a homicide case in Brazil. Authorities suspect that he is headed south but have not disclosed a specific destination.
In a peculiar twist, Cavalcante was captured on a trail camera on Monday night at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square. The image showed him navigating through a wooded area as he attempted to elude capture.
It’s worth noting that Cavalcante had been previously convicted of murdering his ex-girlfriend in 2021, leading to a life sentence in prison.
