Missouri Teacher on Leave for Maintaining OnlyFans Account

A high school teacher in Missouri, Brianna Coppage, has been placed on leave by the school district after her involvement in an OnlyFans account came to light. Coppage, 28, who teaches English at St. Clair High School, revealed that she was informed about her leave following an interview with two administrators.

According to Coppage, she had anticipated the situation, as the local community had started to discover her presence on OnlyFans. She stated, “It was kind of always like this cloud hanging over my head, like I never knew when I would be discovered. Then, about two weeks ago, my husband and I were told that people were finding out about it. So I knew this day was coming.”

OnlyFans for Supplementing Income

Coppage disclosed that she joined the OnlyFans website during the summer to supplement her teaching income. Reportedly, she earned approximately $42,000 in the previous year and has been making $8,000 to $10,000 each month through selling subscriptions on OnlyFans.

Kyle Kruse, the school superintendent, mentioned that they were recently made aware of a staff member potentially posting inappropriate content on the internet. In response, the district has engaged legal counsel to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter, and actions taken will be in accordance with board policy and legal guidance.

Coppage’s Perspective

Regarding her choice of OnlyFans, Coppage explained that she chose the platform because the content she posted was exclusively accessible to subscribers, offering a level of anonymity. She expressed her awareness of the likelihood that she may never teach again, but she misses her students. She emphasized that her involvement in OnlyFans was her personal life outside of teaching.

She also defended her professional conduct, stating, “There is this expectation that teachers should be the moral leaders of students, and I do not disagree with that. I taught the curriculum. I taught students reading and writing, and I didn’t guide them on my thoughts or beliefs. … And I can’t control what people think of me. I just know that who I am as a person, I’m not doing anything illegal. I am a good friend. I am a good family member. That is all I can think about right now.”

While Coppage expressed no regrets about joining OnlyFans, she wished things had unfolded differently.
