Missing Carnival cruise passenger’s last known whereabouts revealed as search intensifies off Florida coast

Cruise Passenger Missing as Ship Docks in Miami

Authorities are on the lookout for a Carnival cruise passenger who vanished as the ship pulled into Miami on a Monday morning.

Kevin McGrath, a 26-year-old passenger on the Carnival Conquest, was last seen in his stateroom early that Monday, as confirmed by the Miami-Dade Police Department. He was spotted near PortMiami, according to the police.

A spokesperson representing Carnival Cruise Line informed Fox News Digital that McGrath’s cabin mate had last seen him around 7:00 a.m., roughly when the disembarkation process commenced.

Cruise staff conducted a thorough search of the ship, but they couldn’t locate the 26-year-old.

McGrath was neither picked up by the ship’s surveillance systems nor seen during the cruise’s disembarkation by U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.

The U.S. Coast Guard has informed Fox News Digital that they are actively searching in the vicinity of PortMiami and along the South Florida coast for McGrath, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

Despite a helicopter search by the Coast Guard, there have been no signs of McGrath as of yet.

Miami-Dade police subsequently cleared the ship for departure.

McGrath had been on a brief two-night cruise to Bimini, Bahamas.
