Prison Lockdown in Minnesota After Inmates Protest
Around 100 inmates at the Minnesota Correctional Facility – Stillwater refused to return to their cells on Sunday, resulting in an emergency lockdown, authorities revealed.
The facility, which houses approximately 1,200 inmates, witnessed about 100 prisoners taking part in the protest. The specific reasons for their refusal to comply remain unclear, according to a spokesperson for the prison.
