Love Island’s Jack Fincham arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and having false plates on car

Reality Star Jack Fincham Arrested on Drug-Driving and False Plates Charges

Love Island’s Jack Fincham, aged 31, found himself in hot water recently, facing allegations of drug-driving and using false plates on his car. The popular reality star was reportedly driving at high speed when he was pulled over by the police.

Fincham, who shot to fame by winning the 2018 series of the ITV show Love Island alongside Dani Dyer, 27, underwent a blood test during the police stop. In addition to the drug-driving and false plates charges, he was also held on suspicion of careless driving and driving without insurance.

The incident took place on August 26, as Fincham was driving on the A2 near his home in Swanley, Kent. He now awaits further investigation, with his release date scheduled for November 26.

This arrest has garnered attention just weeks before Fincham is set to appear on the All Stars edition of Love Island. He is among the former contestants selected to take part in Love Island Games, set to be held in Fiji from November 1.

Notably, this isn’t the first time Fincham has faced legal trouble related to driving. In 2021, he was charged with drug-driving, but the case was eventually dropped.

Last night, a source close to Fincham stated that he had been using private plates rather than false ones and vehemently denied any drug use. His solicitor, Conor Johnstone from M.A.J Law, asserted, “Mr. Fincham has not been charged with drug driving and denies any drug consumption whatsoever. There is no evidence at this stage that Mr. Fincham drove while over the legal limit, and we are hopeful that his blood results will prove the same.”
