Love Island Star Jack Fincham Spotted After Recent Arrest
Jack Fincham, the popular Love Island star, has emerged back into the public eye following his recent legal troubles. He expressed concerns about being unfairly targeted by the police.
Fincham, who is 31 years old, faced several charges, including drug driving, careless driving, driving without insurance, and having private number plates on the A2 near Dartford in Kent.
Bail Granted Until November
He has been granted bail until November 26, but he is considering taking formal action against the police.
After his arrest, Fincham appeared visibly serious as he took his dog for a walk.
Clarification on Number Plates
According to Fincham’s lawyer, Conor Johnstone, the number plates in question were not fake but private ones.
Johnstone explained, “Mr. Fincham has not been charged with drug driving, and he denies any drug use. There is no evidence to suggest he was driving while over the legal limit, and we hope his blood test results will confirm this. Mr. Fincham believes he has been unfairly singled out by Kent Police recently and is contemplating filing a complaint against them.”
This isn’t the first time Fincham has faced drug-driving allegations. He was arrested in 2021 under similar circumstances, but the case was dropped due to insufficient evidence.
Statement from the Police
Kent Police issued a statement, saying, “On Saturday, August 26, 2023, officers arrested a 31-year-old man from Swanley on suspicion of drug driving, careless driving, driving without insurance, and driving with private number plates on the A2 near Dartford. He has been released on bail until November 26, 2023.”
Fincham gained fame by winning the 2018 series of Love Island alongside his former girlfriend, Dani Dyer, the daughter of former EastEnders actor Danny Dyer. Following his reality TV stint, he ventured into boxing, with an upcoming match against Geordie Shore’s Aaron Chalmers.
