Houston robbery suspects snatch money bag from disabled man in wheelchair after stalking him: police

Authorities Hunt Robbery Suspects After Disabled Man Targeted

Houston authorities are on the lookout for at least three individuals suspected of robbery, with their actions caught on surveillance footage as they seemed to target a disabled man in a motorized wheelchair for their heist.

The incident occurred on August 31 when the victim had just completed a purchase at a convenience store. Surveillance footage, recently released by the Houston Police Department, suggests that one of the suspects noticed the money-filled bag in the man’s possession.

Another video clip shows three males in a parking lot, apparently scouting the surroundings. One of them separates from the group and enters the Pit Stop Express gas station. He then passes by a parked vehicle and approaches the man in the wheelchair near the gas pumps.

Suddenly, the suspect snatches the money bag from the disabled man’s hands and swiftly makes his escape alongside his two accomplices, according to the police.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
