Woman Sexually Assaulted on Hove Beach After Stranger Approaches
In a distressing incident on Hove Beach, East Sussex, a woman in her 20s was sexually assaulted after a stranger approached her while she was preparing to go for a swim, early in the morning at approximately 7:20 am.
This unsettling event is suspected to be connected to a previous incident of a similar nature that occurred just a few days prior on the same beach.
The suspect, described as a man in his late 30s to early 40s, stands at around 5 feet 6 inches tall and has short, dark brown hair. He was dressed in a vivid red crew neck sweatshirt and black/navy jogging bottoms at the time of the incident.
According to a statement from Sussex Police, the encounter began with a brief interaction where the victim and the assailant engaged in a Reiki or energy practice before the assault occurred.
