Miley Cyrus Looks Back at Iconic Role on Hannah Montana
Remember the show Hannah Montana? It was a big deal back from 2006 to 2011. Miley Cyrus was the star, playing a regular teenager named Miley Stewart. But here’s the twist: Miley Stewart was also a famous pop star named Hannah Montana! The show was a hit, and it made Miley Cyrus and some of her co-stars famous.
Miley’s dad in the show was played by her real-life father, Billy Ray Cyrus. She also had a best friend named Lilly Truscott, played by Emily Osment. Miley’s on-screen brother, Jackson, was played by Jason Earles. Then there were her other best friend Oliver Oken, played by Mitchel Musso, and Jackson’s friend Rico Suave, played by Moises Arias.
Even though Miley became a big pop star in real life, she didn’t forget about her time on Hannah Montana. In March 2021, which was 15 years after the show started, Miley wrote a special message to Hannah Montana on Instagram. She remembered putting on blonde bangs and a pink robe with ‘HM’ on it. Miley wrote that Hannah Montana would live on, not just in her heart, but in the hearts of millions of fans around the world.
