Florida women outside Coyote Ugly bar seen tossing baby around ‘like a toy’ moments before fight breaks out

Shocking Incident: Baby Tossed ‘Like a Toy’ at Florida Bar

In a disturbing incident caught on surveillance video, two women are facing serious charges after allegedly treating a baby like a toy during a drunken confrontation. Sierrah Newell, 20, and Brianna Lafoe, 19, were arrested and charged with child abuse stemming from an incident that occurred on September 14th at the Coyote Ugly bar in Daytona Beach, Florida.

According to an arrest affidavit, witnesses reported seeing the two women tossing the child back and forth while standing four feet apart. To make matters worse, they even turned the baby upside down. One witness claimed that Lafoe not only threatened her but also flipped the baby and held him upside down by the ankles.

Disturbing Video Evidence

Daytona Beach Police Department officers reviewed a video recorded by a witness that showed Lafoe swinging the baby up and down perilously close to concrete. In a shocking turn of events, Lafoe also allegedly struck the woman who was recording the incident.

In the video, Lafoe can be heard yelling at onlookers, insisting they shouldn’t have been filming their actions. She was then seen swinging the baby up and down before making a threatening gesture towards someone.

Alcohol Involved, Baby Injured

According to the police report, both of the underage women were intoxicated at the time of the incident. The child was taken to a local hospital, where X-rays indicated a possible broken arm. Lafoe faces additional charges of battery due to her actions.

Surveillance footage from Crazy John’s Recreational Cannabis store captured most of the disturbing incident. Shawn Knapp, a manager at the store, expressed deep concern, saying, “It really breaks your heart to see a little one go through something like that.”

This alarming incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of responsible behavior, especially when children are involved.
