Debris Field Discovered in Investigation of Missing F-35 Jet
Military officials have located a debris field while investigating the disappearance of an F-35 jet in South Carolina. The discovery was made in Williamsburg County, South Carolina, but it hasn’t been confirmed whether the debris belongs to the missing aircraft.
On Sunday afternoon, there was a “mishap,” and the pilot of the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, which was assigned to Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, had to eject from the aircraft. Fortunately, the pilot safely landed on the ground and received medical attention at a local center.
Fox News Digital reached out to the United States Marine Corps for additional information, but they have not responded yet.
