At present, no arrests have been made in connection with these shootings, as dedicated detectives continue their relentless efforts to investigate these distressing cases.
As of the latest data available on Sunday, there has been a 12% reduction in citywide shooting incidents year-to-date, totaling 1,707. Similarly, murders have seen a 9% decrease, with 423 reported citywide murders compared to 467 during the same period last year. However, it’s important to note that total crime complaints have surged by 32% year-to-date compared to the corresponding period last year, revealing the ongoing challenges faced by the city in tackling crime.
