Bank holiday revellers took to the streets last night as Britain made the most of their day off – as thousands across the country nurse sore heads this morning.
Partygoers hit the town in their last chance to make the most of the summer, with glamorous clubbers strutting the streets in skimpy outfits in a boozy night of celebration.
And they flocked to pubs and clubs across the nation as they took advantage of the last bank holiday until December so they could embrace their hangovers before work on Tuesday.
In Liverpool, a set of pals strutted into the city centre as they celebrated a friend’s birthday.
With two celebrating the special day wearing glitzy headbands, they set off on a night of partying in matching black glitzy ensembles and heels.
